How to become a sanyasi

Just Don't. The time of sanyasis is long gone. I am talking about bahirsanyaas(external sanyaas) i.e. you want to leave your home and want to go somewhere so that you can find peace and do your sadhna there. But, situations have changed now. Suppose, let's take an example of Himalayas, do you know that our government has made “Natural parks” in places where we used to do sadhna. So, you can't go there now and if you go by the rules you can only stay there from 9 am to 5 pm. You can't prepare your dhuna(fire : The lifeline of yogis in Himalayas). You have to take permission from the magistrate first. What will you do?.

Now, you can ask where do the sadhaks live?

Well, my guru always does his sadhna on Higher peaks of the natural park so that no police or ranger can reach them because they are weak. I know this is illegal but we don't have any option. This is the situation of Himalayas which was known for its solitude. So, you can think of other places.

Let's do an experiment. wear clothes like a sanyaasi, have a kamandal(a pot) and hit the streets and observe how people would stare you. Go to a shop and the shopkeeper will start shouting on you without knowing whether you have money or not or you are there to buy or beg. When you would cross a police station, you will be considered a thief(You have already seen incident of Palgarh). So, please don't go for bahirsanyaas. Instead, I would advise you to have innersanyaas i.e. Absolute detachment from the world even after living in this world i.e. Mahasanyaas. Individuals like Shri krishna, Shri Ram, Matasyendranath etc. were majasanyaasi. one other example was King Janak.

As this question is requested by a girl. I think she is not married because a mother can't think of sanyaas i.e. she is still unmarried and she may be scared of married life because you know a married woman has a lot of duties or she may just be a teenager who is just fed up of this useless lifestyle. The most scary thing is break in Brahmcharya(celibacy), you know what I meant. But, my advise for you or any other girl is that you don't need to worry, you will definitely find people like yourselves who can understand you feelings, emotions and your mindset. You just need to search for them. Same goes for a guy too.

In the end, I just want you to do a thing and that is search videos of sadhus beaten by people on youtube and believe me, you will never desire to be a bahirsanyaasi again because the videos are thousands in number.
