Origin of tantric texts

The only source of Agama(shaiva scriptures) and Nigama(shaakt scriptures) is the guru himself. You can't get what's inside them without a guru. They are absolute and real yogic and tantric scriptures.

Since, they have all the secrets and people would start misusing them, they have been written in such a way that either people won't understand them or get scared. For e.g. In these scriptures, Shiva is named as Bhairava and Maa Parvati as Bhairavi, now the term Bhairavi is really scary in the regions of Himachal Pradesh. People there think Bhairavi is some kind of ghost. They have burnt thousands of scriptures out of fear because they saw the word Bhairavi in them.

Another example is Shiva as Bhairava asks maa parvati as Bhairavi to bring a human skull, a corpse, alcohol(madeera), fishes to eat etc. Now almost all of you would be scared because he is asking to bring a corpse and a human skull. What would you do?

So, these are reasons you should go to a guru and try to understand the hidden meanings behind them. Your guru will teach you that by human skull, he means an almost thoughtless mind is required for this sadhna. Same with the other things.

I don't understand why people want agams and nigams even if someone decoded whole of the scriptures for them, they still can't do a single thing, because the most important thing is deeksha. As long as you don't have that you are just a scholar not a yogi or tantric. Once, you get a guru he is everything whether it's agams, nigams, yoga, tantra, ved, purana, shastras everything. So, focus on getting a guru rather than searching for scriptures. If you have a guru and he can't teach you these, it's time to search for another one. I am not asking to leave the previous one, I am just saying to have multiple gurus.
